APPROVAL OF CONTRACT WITH BRIGHT SKY LEARNING, LLC AND THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY TO PROVIDE SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATIONAL SERVICES TO TARGETED STUDENTS OF TITLE I SCHOOLS FOR 2006-2007
Description
Bright Sky Learning, LLC will provide reading and math instruction after school at the the locations of the Boys and Girls Club of Sarasota. Tutoring will last one hour at the rate of $44.00 per hour. This contract will not exceed $950.00 per student and is paid from Title I funds as stipulated in No Child Left Behind.
Recommendation
That the School Board of Sarasota County approve the contract with Bright Sky Learning, LLC to provide SES tutorial services to targeted Title I students.
